Ingredients
- 12 oz (2.5 cups) flour
- 2 sticks (1 cup) ice cold butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 7 tbsp ice water
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
Instructions
- Mix together water and cider vinegar.
- Put flour and butter into food processor. Mix until you get "coarse crumbs"
- Add half of water+vinegar mix, and pulse a few times.
- Add the rest of the water+vinegar, and pulse until it just starts to come together.
- Take out the crumbly mixture, and pat it into a round shape by hand.
- Divide it into halves. Form into disks, and cover with plastic wrap.
- Refridgerate the halves for at least 30 min.
- Now dough it ready to roll out into 2 9-inch disks.
